339, 343. Who will receive these experiences and with whom should this book be shared

Verse 339

ஞானி என்றால்இது காண்பான் மற்றோர் காணார்

நல்வினை தீ வினைகள் ரெண்டும் முளைத்த தனக்கே

காணி என்ற கியானம் அக்கியானம் அங்கே

Verse 343

அல்லடா என்று சொல்வார் அறியா மட்டை

அடுத்து உன்னைக் கேட்டாலும் அகலத் தள்ளு

கல்லடா மனம் கொண்ட பிள்ளைக் கீவாய்

கசடர்கள் வந்தடுத்தாக்கால் நூல் காட்டாதே

புள்ளடா புலையா அது முகம் பாராதே

பூதலத்தில் நீயிருந்தால் புதுமை கேளே

Translation:

It is only the jnani who sees this, others do not see it,

The two, good and bad actions will affect them

Wisdom and ignorance will occur there.

Verse 343

They will say it is not so, the stupid, the foolish

If they ask you, ignore them.

You will offer this to one who has a firm mind

Do not show this book to the faulty

They ae evil birds, Pulayaa!  Do not see even their face

If you remain in the world, hear this, something new.

Commentary:

As before some verses are missing and these two verses are disconnected.  Verse 339 says that only those who are free of the fruits of good and bad actions, the Wise Ones will attain these experiences.  The good and bad karma will make one shuttle between wisdom and ignorance.  So these experiences will not be permanent even if they occur.

Verse 343 is also not clear.  It seems to be instructing who should receive this book and who should not.  Agatthiyar tells Pulatthiyar that this book should be offered only to the worthy. 

 இடைப்பட்ட பாடல்கள் தொலைந்துவிட்டதால் இவ்விரு பாடல்களும் தொடர்பற்று உள்ளன.  பாடல் 339ல் அகத்தியர் நல்வினை தீவினை ஆகிய இரண்டையும் கடந்த ஞானியரே மேற்கூறிய அனுபவங்களைப் பெறுவர், பிறருக்கு நல்வினை தீவினை என்று இரு வினைகளும் இருப்பதால் ஒருசமயம் ஞானம் மற்றொரு சமயம் அஞ்ஞானம் என்று இரண்டுக்கும்  இடையே ஊசலாடுவர் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.

பாடல் 343ல் இந்த நூலை திடமான உறுதி பெற்றோருக்கே கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.  மனதில் அழுக்கு உள்ளவர்களுக்குக் காட்டக் கூடாது என்கிறார் அவர்.  அடுத்தபாடலில் தான் ஏதோ புதிய ஒன்றைக் கூறப்போவதாகவும் அதைக் கேள் புலத்தியா என்றும் அவர் கூறுகிறார்.
