295. Sambhavi mudra

நில்லப்பா புலத்தியனே அறிவுள்ளோனே

நெறித்து இரு கண் கடுக்க உன்னிப் பாரு

சொல்லப்பா ஓர் சொல்லும் பொய் வராது

சூக்ஷம் எல்லாம் காவியத்தில் சொன்னேன் சொன்னேன்

கல்லப்பா குகை தேடி அலைந்திடாதே

கருத்துள்ள பூரணத்தில் கலந்து கூடு

பல்லப்பா மிகக் காட்டி சிறுக்கி யோடோ

படுத்து நீ மகிழாதே பார்த்து ஏறே

Translation:

Remain Pulatthiya!  The knowledgeable one!

Tighten the eyes and see with focus

Say Son!  Not even a word will be lie

I revealed all the subtlety in the kavyam

Learn/do not roam looking for the stony cave

Merge with the essence, the fully complete

With a cheap grin towards a lowly girl

Do not sleep and enjoy yourself.  See and climb.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar is talking about the sambhavi mudra where the eye is held at the eye brow center.  He adds that he has mentioned everything in his kavyam. The next line says “stone/learn son! Do not roam around searching for a cave”.  This may mean do not attach great importance to the experiences at the ajna but go forward.  It may also mean that with this knowledge you can merge with the Divine through the yoga.  You need not go searching for a cave to perform austerities as this knowledge and practical methods are sufficient. 

Agatthiyar is also advising Pulatthiyar to not waste time chasing the woman but to climb up with care.  They may mean not to indulge in worldly pleasure but to engage in kundalini yoga.  It may also mean, not to lose oneself in the distractions caused by kundalini sakti.

இப்பாடலில் அகத்தியர் சாம்பவி முத்திரையைப் பற்றிப் பேசுகிறார்.  இந்த முத்திரையில் கண்கள் புருவ மத்தியில் குவிக்கப்படுகின்றன.  இதற்கு அடுத்த வரியில் அகத்தியர் “கல்லப்பா குகையைத் தேடி அலையாதே” என்கிறார்.  இது ஆக்ஞையில் ஏற்படும் அனுபவங்களைத் தேடி அலையாதே, விழிப்புணர்வை சஹஸ்ராரம் வரை ஏற்று என்று பொருள்.  அல்லது இதைக் கற்றுக்கொண்டு பூரணத்துடன் கூடு, தவம் செய்ய குகையைத் தேடி அலையவேண்டாம் என்றும் பொருள் கூறலாம்.

பல்லிளித்துக்கொண்டு பெண்ணுடன் கூடி இன்பம் கண்டு மகிழ வேண்டாம் என்று கூறுவது உலக இன்பத்தைத் தேடி அலைய வேண்டாம் யோகத்தைப் பயிலு என்று கூறுவதாகவும் அல்லது குண்டலினி சக்தி அளிக்கும் சித்திகளைக் கண்டு மகிழ்ந்து அத்துடன் நிறுத்திவிட வேண்டாம்,  மேலும் சஹஸ்ராரத்தை நோக்கிச் செல்ல வேண்டும் என்று அகத்தியர் கூறுவதாகவும் பொருள் கொள்ளலாம்.
