356. Please reveal this like just milked milk

Verse 356

திறந்திட்டேன் என்றுரைத்தீர் குருவே ஐயா

திரளாத கன்னி அவள் வயிற்றில் பிள்ளை

பிறந்திட்டான் என்று சொன்ன கதைபோல் ஆச்சு

பிள்ளைக்கு இவ்வார்த்தைச் சொல்லப் போமோ

கறந்திட்டப் பாலதுபோல் இன்ன தென்று

காட்டுவீர் கடைவிரித்துச் சரக்கைக் காட்டி

அறைந்திட்டுப் போனானே சரியாம் என்று

அங்கங்கும் தாமுரைத்தீர் அருள் சொல்வீரே

Translation:

My guru!  Sir, you said that you revealed everything explicitly

This is like saying
"A child in the womb of the maiden who had not attained maturity"

Can you say these to the child?

You please reveal this

Like the just milked milk,

You please show this as if spreading the shop

About all the components

He announced it as correct and went away

You talked about so many, please reveal the grace.

Commentary:

Pulatthiyar is telling Agatthiyar that his words are as inapt as saying that a maiden who had not attained maturity birthed a child.  Hence, Agatthiyar should explain this clearly as Pulatthiyar claims that he has not reached the mental maturity required to understand these concepts.  He requests Agatthiyar to explain as clealy as just milked milk, in a form that is easily consumable even by a child.  Someone, probably Siva, has announced that this knowledge is correct.  Hence, Agatthiyar should grant this grace- says Pulatthiyar.

புலத்தியர் அகத்தியரிடம் இந்த அறிவை இன்னும் எளிதாகப் புரிந்துகொள்ளும்படி கூறுமாறு வேண்டுகிறார்.  மனமுதிர்ச்சியடையாத தனக்கு இந்த அறிவைக் கொடுப்பது, தகுந்த பருவமடையாத கன்னி ஒருத்தியின் வயிற்றில் பிள்ளை பிறந்தது என்று கூறுவதைப் போல உள்ளது.  அதனால் கறந்த பாலைப் போல குழந்தையும் எளிதாக ஜீரணிக்கும் விதத்தில் இவற்றைத் தனக்கு விளக்க வேண்டும் என்று புலத்தியர் அகத்தியரிடம் கூறுகிறார்.  இந்த அறிவை யாரோ ஒருவர், சிவனாக இருக்கலாம், சரி என்று அறைந்து கூறிவிட்டுச் சென்றுள்ளார் அதைத் தனக்கு அருளுமாறு அகத்தியர் வேண்டுகிறார்.
