Verse 360

கேளடா பிறைவந்துஐங் கோணம்தான்

கெணதமுடன் கோணம் அஞ்சில் எழுத்தைக் கேளு

வாளடா ஐஞ் செழுத்து வளையம் போட்டு

வரிசையுடன் பிறை நடுவில் மகாரம் போட்டு

மீளடா அதனிடத்தில் விரியப் போட்டு

வேதாந்த பூசை விதிப் படிக்குச் செய்து

ஏளடாமந்திரமும் எட்டெழுத்தைத் தாக்கி

இருந்திடு நீ சித்திரம்போல் குறிப்பைப் பாரே

Translation:

Listen son, the partial moon and the pentagon

Listen to the letters in the five points

Drawing the circle add the five letters

Add a partial moon in the middle and the Makara

Place it expansively there and recover

Performing (worship) as per the instructions of the Vedantic method

Piercing the mantra, the eight letters

You remain there like a painting.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar seems to be describing the svadhishtana cakra as it contains the partial moon within.  The central letter is also makra there.  Some systems say that the central letter is makara for the manipuraka cakra.  

இப்பாடலில் அகத்தியர் சுவாதிஷ்டான சக்கரத்தைப் பற்றிப் பேசுவதைப் போல உள்ளது.  இந்த சக்கரத்தின் மத்தியில் பிறைச் சந்திரனும் மகாரமும் உள்ளன.  ஆனால் அவர் நடுவில் ஐங்கோணம் உள்ளது என்றுஇந்த சக்கரத்தில் கவனத்தைக் குவித்து அசையாமல் சித்திரத்தைப் போல இருக்கவேண்டும் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.
