5. Muppoo

Verse 5

முடுக்கமற்ற முப்பத்தாறைந்து சொன்னேன்

மூடினதோர் நீற்றினத்தில் நாலு நூறு

அடுக்கமற்ற ஐந்திலே முப்பூ சொன்னேன்

ஆறதனில் உள்ளதெலாம் அமர்த்திப் போட்டேன்

துடுக்கமற்ற வட்டு பதினாறில் மக்காள்

சூட்டினேன் அதிலனந்தம் தோய்ந்து பாரு

கடுக்கமற நூற்றைந்தில் நாலு சொன்னேன்

கைவிட பதினாறும் ஐந்தும் பாரே

Translation:

I uttered the direct thirty six and five

In the class of sacred ash four and (hundred)

I told about the muppū in the five

I told about everything in the six

In the sixteen, People

I adorned it, immerse in it eternally and perceive it,

In the expansive hundred and five I told the four
See the sixteen and four sor what should be given up

Commentary:

This verse also seems to be a list of Agatthiyar’s works.  The five may be Agatthiyar aindhu sātthiram.  He mentions that he has explained the concept of bhasma in the work of four hundred and about muppū, a special preparation, in the five.  The five may mean five types of muppu.  Details on muppu can be found in the following blog spot.  For those who cannot read Tamil, the author says that there are five types of muppu. Vaidhya muppu enhances the efficacy of siddha medicinal preparations.  It is also called guru muppu.  A small amount of it is added to the medicine while administering it.  Mānthrīka muppu is used in mantra prayoga.  A small amount of it placed on yantra or the ash preparation makes ashta karma prayoga, mohanam, sthambanam,vasyam etc. easily achievable.  Vāda muppu is used in alchemy, to transform base metal into gold by removing their impurities.  The kalpa muppu is used in the kayakalpa preparations. It increases resistance to diseases.  Rudra muppu belongs to this category of muppu.  The jnana muppu grants the power to control nature, to realize God.   The author adds that only a select few know about this and that it should be learned from a guru after deeksha. இப்பாடலும் அகத்தியர் இயற்றிய நூல்களின் தொகுப்பாக உள்ளது.  இங்கு கூறிய ஐந்து என்பது அகத்தியர் ஐந்து சாத்திரமாக இருக்கலாம்.  நானூற்றில் பஸ்மத்தைப் பற்றிக் கூறியுள்ளதாகவும் ஐந்தில் முப்பூவைப் பற்றி கூறியுள்ளதாகவும் அவர் சொல்கிறார்.  ஐந்து என்பது ஐவகை முப்பூவாகவும் இருக்கலாம்.  முப்பூவைப் பற்றிய குறிப்புக்களை கீழ்க்காணும் பிளாக்கில் பார்க்கவும்.  பொதுவாக ஐவகை முப்பூக்கள் உள்ளன, வைத்திய முப்பூ என்பது சித்த மருத்துவ கலவைகள்.  இது குரு முப்பூ என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.  சித்த வைத்திய மருந்துக்களில் இது மிகச்சிறிய அளவு சேர்க்கப்படுகிறது.  மாந்திரிக முப்பூ என்பது மந்திரப் பிரயோகத்தில் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.  இதன் ஒரு சிறிய பகுதி யந்திரத்தின் மீது வைக்கப்பட்டு மந்திரப்பிரயோகம் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டால் அஷ்ட கர்மங்கள் எனப்படும் மோகனம், ஸ்தம்பனம் ஆகியவற்றை எளிதில் அடையலாம்.  வாத முப்பூ ரசவாதத்தில் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.  கல்ப முப்பூ காயகல்பம் செய்யும்போது பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.  அது நோய் எதிர்ப்புச் சக்தியை அதிகரிக்கிறது.  ருத்திர முப்பூ இந்த வகையைச் சேர்ந்தது.  ஞான முப்பூ இயற்கையைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தக் கூடிய சக்தியை அளிக்கிறது, இறையுணர்வைப் பெற உதவுகிறது.  இதனை பற்றிய விவரங்களை ஒரு குருவிடமிருந்து தீட்சை பெற்று அறிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும்.  மேற்கூறியுள்ள பிளாக்கில் இந்த விவரங்களை பார்க்கலாம்.
