332. For whose sake does Devi perform this wonderful feat?

Verse 332

செய்வாளே பத்தர் சித்தர் முனிவர் கண்டு

திருவடியில் வணங்குகின்ற அடியார்க்காக

மெய்வாளே சபை ஆறும் கண்டோர்க்கு ஐயா

வெளியாகி உள்ளாக நிறைந்தோர்க்கையா

செய்வாளே சுழி ஓடி நிறைந்தோர்க்கையா

சிவ சிவா அம்பலத்தில் நின்றோர்க்கையா

எய்வாளே சமைய மதம் கொண்டோர் தன்னை

இருப்பாளே தன்புகழை நினைந்தோர்க்கு எண்ணே

Translation:

She will do so for the baddha, siddha and muni

For the sake of the devotees who salute her feet

It is the true sword for those who have seen the six sabhas

For those who have become space and filled as outside and inside 

She will do for those who have become full running through the whorl

Siva sivaa for those who remain in the arena (ambalam)

She will toss those who are crazed by religion

She will remain for those who contemplate on her glory. Contemplate. 

Commentary:

The reason for Devi performing the wonderful feat mentioned in the above verse is for the sake of evolved souls- the siddha, the muni/those who contemplate on her, for devotees and for the baddha or the worldly souls.  She will do so for souls who have experienced the six cakras, for those remain as the supreme space, those who have traveled through the whorl and those who remain in the ambalam or sahasrara, the state of supreme consciousness.  In short, she will remain so for the sake of those who eulogize her.

இத்தகைய அதிசயங்களை தேவி யாருக்காகச் செய்கிறாள், எதற்காகச் செய்கிறாள் என்று அகத்தியர் இப்பாடலில் கூறுகிறார்.  சித்தர்கள், முனிவர்கள், உலக மக்களான பத்தர்கள், அடியார்கள் ஆகியோருக்காக தேவி இந்த செயல்களைச் செய்கிறாள்.  சுழியான குண்டலினியைத் தமது சக்கரங்களில் பாயச் செய்து, ஆறு ஆதாரங்களில் பயணித்து அம்பலம் எனப்படும் சஹஸ்ராரத்தை அடைந்து அங்கே தனது புகழை எண்ணுவோருக்காக தேவி இந்த வியக்கத் தக்க செயல்களை நிகழ்த்துகிறாள்.
