348. This world is your mother she will give you everything

சொல்லப்பா இவ்விடம் அது கேட்கச்

சொன்னவுடன் நெடுமூச்சாய் சோம்பி நிற்பான்

பில்லப்பா கொழுந்தில் அனல் பட்டாப் போல

பொய்மனது தான் வெதுப்பிப் பேசான் ஒன்றும்

அல்லப்பா உந்தனுக்கு உலகம் தாய்தான்

அவன் கொடுப்பதேது னக்கு அறுத்துப் பேசு

அல்லப்பா அருளித்தோர் மனம் நொந்தக்கால்

அர அரா ரவிகோடிக்காகான்என்னே

Translation:

Say it son, so it is heard here

He will remain fatigued with long breaths

Like the young grass burnt by fire

The fallacious mind burning, he will not speak

He is not for you.  The world is your mother

What can he give you?  Cut him off

If those who are gracious are saddened

He will not be rescued even until millions of suns

Translation:

Agatthiyar says that such a person, if he listens about the truth, will remain speechless.  His heart will be burning like young grass on fire.  Agatthiyar tells Pulatthiyar that this world is Pulatthiyar’s mother.  That is, she will give everything he wants, there is nothing that someone else need to give him.  Hence Pulatthiyar should cut that person down and talk to him curtly.  If a soul who is gracious is made to become sad then the person who did so cannot recover from that damage even after millions of years.

அகத்தியர் பாவி என்று குறிப்பிட்ட மனிதன் உண்மையைக் கேட்டால் அனலில் பட்ட இளம் புல்லைப் போல மனம் வெதும்பி பேசாமல் இருந்துவிடுவார்.  அவர் புலத்தியருக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டியது ஒன்றுமில்லை ஏனெனில் இந்த உலகமே புலத்தியருக்குத் தாய், அவள் அவருக்கு வேண்டியதைத் தருவாள்.  அதனால் அத்தகைய மனிதரிடம் வெட்டென்று பேசி அவரை விலக்கவேண்டும் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.  அருள் மிகுந்த ஒருவரை மற்றவர் வருத்தமுறச் செய்தால், அந்த மற்றவர் பல கோடி ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகும் உயர் நிலையை அடைய முடியாது என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.
