311. The gem studded ornament is for those who realized all the four

கண்டுப்பார் இந்நூலில் ஞானம் எல்லாம்

கடைபோட்டேன் பல நூலில் சொன்ன தெல்லாம்

கொண்டுநான் இந்நூலில் இழைத்தேன் செம்பொன்

குழைக்கோலை நவமணிகள் பதித்தேன் ஐயா

உண்டுபார் இந்நூல்போல் மெய்ஞ்ஞானத்தை

உரைத்திடா தொருநாலு முணர்ந்தோர்க் காகும்

பண்டு நான் வைத்த பொருள் இதுதான் அப்பா

பாடினேன் காவியத்தில் பாடினேனே.

Traslation:

See everything in this book, all the wisdom

I spread here, all that were revealed in many other books

I perfected this book with them, I studded the pure golden

Ornament with nine gems, Sir,

See if there is any other book like this, that will reveal

The meijnanam.  This is for those who have realized all the four

This is entity that I placed long ago,

I sang in the kavya, I sang.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar says that the meijnana kaviyam contains all the information about wisdom and that he collected information from several books and placed them here.  It is like a gold ornament studded with precious gems.  He challenges Pulatthiyar to find any other book that is so complete like the meijnanam and says that this book is for those who know about the four.  ‘naalum unarnthor’ means those who realized all the four.  The four may be charya, kriya, yoga and jnana or dharma, artha, kama and moksha, or the four states of consciousness jagrit, svapna, sushupti and turiya. 

மெய்ஞ்ஞான காவியம் ஞானத்தைப் பற்றிய அனைத்தையும் உட்கொண்டது.  தான் அனைத்தையும் எழுதியதுடன் பிற நூல்களில் கொடுக்கப்பட்டவற்றையும் இங்கே தொகுத்தளித்துள்ளதாக அகத்தியர் கூறுகிறார்.  பொன் ஆபரணத்தில் நவமணிகளைப்  பதித்ததுபோல் இந்த நூல் உள்ளது என்றும் இங்கே கொடுக்கப்பட்ட விஷயங்களை வேறு எந்த நூலிலும் காண முடியாது என்றும் கூறும் அகத்தியர் இந்நூல் நாலும் உணர்ந்தவர்களுக்கானது என்கிறார்.  நாலும் உணர்வது என்பது சரியை, கிரியை, யோகம் ஞானம் அல்லது அறம் பொருள் இன்பம், வீடு என்ற நான்கையும் அல்லது விழிப்புநிலை, கனவு நிலை, ஆழ் உறக்கம் மற்றும் துரியம் என்ற நான்காக இருக்கலாம்.
