250. Pujandar summarizes all that he has taught Vasishtar so far.

Verse 250

தான் என்ற தாய் உரைத்த யோகம் சொன்னேன்

தருவான அண்டத்தில் வாரும் சொன்னேன்

தேன்என்ற ஒடுக்கமோடு விளைவும் சொன்னேன்

சிவ சிவா தம்பநெறி திறமாய்ச் சொன்னேன்

ஊன் என்ற அதினுடைய அழகும் சொன்னேன்

ஓஓஓ முப்பாழும் வெளியும் சொன்னேன்

பான் என்ற சண்டரிட குணமும் சொன்னேன்

பரிந்தழைத்த வசிட்ட முனி புலன் சொன்னேனே

Translation:

I revealed the yogam taught by the mother,

I told you about the tree in the universe and the six

I told you about honey the abidance and its effects

Siva sivaa!  I told about the method of the pillar, expertly

I told you about the beauty of the body

O O O I told you about the triple voids and the supreme space

I told you about the qualities of the querulous

The Vasishta muni who called me so lovingly!  I told you the clues.

Commentary:

In this verse Pujandar seems to be taking leave of Vasishta.  He lists or summarizes all the concepts he had taught Vasishta so far.  He told him about the Siva Raja Yogam taught by Vaalai, the kundalini sakti. He revealed the tree, the sushumna that remains during the pralaya and the six centers or cakras.  He explained the manner in which this pillar appears, how the fire of kundalini along with the five letters, namacivaya ride it and reach the terminus during dissolution.  He pointed out the beauty about the body, the triple spaces of creation and the supreme space and the five qualities, senses etc that battle constantly with the soul.  Pujandar tells Vasishta that he has given clues about all these concepts.  That means, he has revealed the knowledge and now it is up to Vasishta to experience it through practice.

இப்பாடலில் புஜண்டர் வசிஷ்டரிடமிருந்து விடைபெறுகிறார்.  தான் இதுவரை வசிஷ்டருக்குக் கூறியவற்றை அவர் பட்டியலிடுகிறார்.  வாலை கற்றுக்கொடுத்த சிவ ராஜ யோகம், மரத்தின் தன்மையும் ஆறு ஆதாரங்களும், தம்பத்தின் தன்மை, எவ்வாறு குண்டலினி அக்னியுடன் பஞ்சாட்சரங்கள் மேலே எழும்புகின்றன, உடலின் அழகும் முப்பாழ், பரவெளி ஆகியவற்றின் தன்மை, எப்போதும் போராடும் ஐவர் ஆகியவற்றைப் பற்றித் தான் வசிஷ்டருக்கு குறி கொடுத்ததாக புஜண்டர் கூறுகிறார்.  இதனால், வசிஷ்டர் அவற்றைத் தனது பயிற்சியின் மூலம் உணர வேண்டும் என்பது புரிகிறது.
