233. Pujanda! Reveal the meijnanam while in the state of meijnana param

Verse 233

கொள்ளாமல் போறதுண்டோ மௌன யோகி

கோடியிலே உனைப் போல ரிஷியைக் காணேன்

உள்ளாக ரிஷி ஒருவர் இல்லா விட்டால்

உக வார்த்தை ஆருரைப்பார் யாருங் காணேன்

விள்ளாமல் தீராது முனிவரே கேள்

மெய்ஞ்ஞானம் பரம் புகுந்து அருள் மெய்ஞ்ஞானி

தள்ளாமல் முனி நாதர் எல்லோர் கேட்க

சாற்றிடீர் முனி நாதா சாற்றிட்டீரே

Translation:

Will one refrain from accepting it, you silent yogi!

I have not seen a rishi like you even in a million

If there is no rishi like you

Then who will tell the truth? I do not see anyone else

It  (the doubt) will not go away unless clarified, so Muni! Listen

Entering the Supreme that is true wisdom, you the truly wise, please grace us,

Without out rejection so that everyone can hear

Please elaborate muni the lord, please tell.

Commentary:

This is an important verse which explains the name of this work.  This verse, which is fashioned as a conversation between Siva and Pujandar, tells us that Pujandar was revealing the truth, the meijnanam  about laya by remaining in the state of meijnanam and realizing the truth.  Thus, this work contains concepts that were revealed while the Siddha was in the state of true wisdom. 

Siva tells Pujandar that Pujandar is the only one who could explain this great experience, that process of laya or dissolution.  He reiterates that he does not see anyone else who could do this and unless it is explained in detail the doubts will not get cleared.  Siva requests Pujandar to explain in detail, the dissolution.

இப்பாடல் இந்த நூலின் பெயரை விளக்குகிறது.  புஜண்டருக்கும் சிவபெருமானுக்கும் இடையே நடக்கும் உரையாடலாக இருக்கும் இதில் புஜண்டரை மெய்ஞ்ஞான முனி என்று அழைக்கும் சிவபெருமான் அவரை மெய்ஞ்ஞான பரத்தில் புகுந்து இந்த மெய்ஞ்ஞானத்தைக் கூறுமாறு கேட்கிறார்.  இதன் மூலம் இந்த நூலில் குறிப்பிடும் கருத்துக்கள் ஒரு சித்தர் மெய்ஞ்ஞான நிலையில் இருந்தபோது கூறப்பட்டது என்று நமக்குத் தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது. 

இந்த கருத்துக்களை புஜண்டரால் மட்டுமே விளக்க முடியும் என்று கூறும் சிவபெருமான் இந்த விஷயத்தைப் பற்றிய சந்தேகம் விளக்கினாலன்றி தீராது என்று கூறுகிறார்.
