237. Merging of elements within each other, merging of everything within Sivam ultimately

Verse 237

காண்பேனே நகாரமது மகாரம் புக்கும்

கருத்தான மகாரமது சிகாரம் புக்கும்

தேண்பேனே சிகாரமது வகாரம் புக்கும்

சிவ சிவா வகாரமது யகாரம் புக்கும்

கோண்பேனே யகாரமது சுடரில் புக்கும்

குருவான சுடர் ஓடி மணியில் புக்கும்

தாண்பேனே மணி ஓடி பரத்தில் புக்கும்

தற்பரம் தான் சிவன் புக்கும் சிவத்தை கேளே

Translation:

I will see the nakaara entering the makaara

The essence, makaara will enter sikaara

The cikara will enter vakara

Siva siva! Vakara will enter yakaara

The yakaara will enter the flame

The guru, the flame will run back to the jewel/bead

The bead will run to param without fail

The tarparam will enter sivan,  listen about Sivam

Commentary:

This verse talks about how the elements merge within each other in the reverse order of creation.  All the elements merge with each other up to the space element.  They ultimately merge with the flame in the ajna.  The flame of the soul merges with the mani or the pearl in the sahasrara.  This jewel then merges with param or the Divine with a form.  The manifested Divine merges with Sivam or super consciousness.

இப்பாடல் பூதங்கள் ஒன்றுடன் ஒன்று சேர்ந்து முடிவில் அவை ஆக்ஞாவிலுள்ள சுடரில் சேரும்.  சுடர் சஹாஸ்ராரத்தில் உள்ள மணியில் புகும்.  மணி உருவ நிலையான பரத்தில் புகும்.  பரம் சிவத்தில் புகும்.  சிவம் என்பது பரவுணர்வு நிலையைக் குறிக்கும்.
