156. It will spread out like spreading a folded mat

Verse 156

கெடுதியப்பா புலத்தியனே இன்னங் கேளு

கேட்காமல் மறந்தை என்றால் சொல்வேன் ஐயா

படுதியப்பா கலப்பானால் நெருப்புக் கூறு

பார்த்தவருக்கு வெகுசுளுவு இந்த நூலில்

தொடுதியப்பா தொடுகுறியும் இதுவே காட்டும்

சுருட்டி வைத்த பாய் விரித்துப் போடும் இந்நூல்

அடுதியப்பா பத்தியமும் கருவும் சொல்லும்

அரகரா வாதமொடு கவிதான் சொல்லே

Translation:

It is harmful Son, Pulatthiya, listen some more

If you forget to hear I will tell you

If it mixes it is difficult son, it becomes the fire part. 

It is easy for those who have seen it in this book

It will show the implied meanings also,

This work will spread it out like a mat that was kept rolled

It will say the essence and the food control

Arahara!  Vãdam and poem, verily the words.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar says that releasing the semen is harmful and it is bad for the ascension of the fire of kundalini.  Agatthiyar says that the meijnanam reveals all these esoteric philosophies clearly as if spreading the mat that was kept rolled up.  It talks about the central theme or the essence, about food control, breath control and greatness of words which are poems.

அகத்தியர் விந்துவை வெளிவிடுவது யோகிக்கு மிகக் கெடுதல் அது குண்டலினி அக்னியையும் எழவிடாது என்கிறார்.  இதையும் இது போன்ற பல விஷயங்களையும் மெய்ஞ்ஞானம் கூறுகிறது என்றும் அது எல்லாவற்றையும் சுருட்டி வைத்த பாயை விரிப்பதைப் போல விவரிக்கிறது என்றும் கூறும் அகத்தியர் இந்த நூலிலிருந்து ஒருவர் கருப்பொருள், உணவுக் கட்டுப்பாடு, மூச்சுப் பயிற்சி கவி ஆகியவற்றை அறியலாம் என்றும் கூறுகிறார்.
